We recently purchased a KD Smart chair for our son. The experience from beginning to end was perfect. I spoke with Roland and it was an absolute pleasure; he wanted to make sure that everything went smoothly with the transaction, which it did. The chair was delivered to my door two days after I made the payment. I received a follow up call a few days later to ensure everything was to my satisfaction, which it was. The chair itself was perfect for what we needed. My son’s old power chair weighed nearly 300 pounds and required a lift on one of our vehicles to transport it. Not so with the KD Smart chair. It folded in less than a minute and stowed away in the trunk. We were able to take off for wherever we wanted to go much faster than we were with the old chair.
My son’s first thought when we talked about getting the KD Smart chair was “it looks unstable” once he drove it around he was amazed at how wrong that statement was. It was as quick as his $17,000.00 power chair, weighed a fraction of his old chair, and it was simple to maneuver. The seat belt gave my son a feel of extra security, the small wheels on back ensured it would not flip over, and he enjoyed the tight turning radius.
